Goldies offers good food, a good beer selection, an indoor and outdoor section, and is quite close to Penn Station, the 1, 2, 3, N, Q, R, W, and PATH. and a short walk to the 4 and 6.

So, it’s been a couple minutes since you got one of these, eh? :-)

After more than a 10-year hiatus, First Wednesday is back, baby!

As many of you may already know, Marianne and I are finally moving back to the US, and will be passing through New York on our way to California. And that pass-through just happens to coincide with June 1st, which just happens to be the First Wednesday of June!

This month, let’s follow the suggestion of a fellow FWer and check-out this fine, centrally-location establishment:

Burgers and beer? Sounds like a fitting return to American cuisine. ;-) I hear the burgers are amazing, they have Portobello burgers for the veggie crowd, the beer selection has some great options, and there is much more on their menu.

Please note: The Bistro is cash only, so be sure to raid that piggy bank before you leave home!

The Bistro is easy access from the 1, 2, 3, A, C, E, L, and PATH.
