Simultaneously Run Multiple Versions of REAL Internet Explorer, WITH Developer Toolbars!

Have I got the perfect New Year’s gift for all of you…

Okay, a show of hands: Who uses stand-alone versions of IE? Okay, not bad, but how often do you say to yourself “I wonder if this looks like this in a real version of IE6“?  Or wished your IE Developer Toolbar and PNGs worked in the same IE6 stand-alone?

Now who uses IETester?  Yeah, about what I expected.  And how often do you say to yourself “I wonder if this looks like this in a real version of IE6″?  Or wished you even had an IE Developer Toolbar?

Well, I’m about to make all your dreams come true!

Allow me to introduce you to the Internet Explorer Collection (don’t let the design put you off… :-), which “contains multiple IE versions, which are standalone so they can be used at the same time” and the “version number is shown correctly in the User Agent string” and “in the window title too” and “includes the Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar” and check-out the list of versions he covers!!!  (Of course, the only versions that really matter now-days are 6, 7, and 8, but still…)

And while you’re at it, how about being to have multiple versions of FF open at the same time, with Firebug and the Web Developer add-ons??

This is madness, sheer madness!

Happy debugging, now,
Atg
